And the countdown begins…

Or if you’re like me, the countdown really started the first day of this semester.

It’s kind of hard to believe that I graduate from college in less than two months. But I am really excited! I just have a few problems…

  1. I have senioritis bad!

Senioritis is an affliction that students in their last year of high school or college deal with. Common symptoms of this affliction are loss or decline in motivation and performance.

Signs you have senioritis (excuse the language):

And it seems like the closer it gets to graduation, the worse this condition becomes. The untitled1587courses I am taking require a lot of work. I always have assignments due and others that I should really start working on and on top of that I still have to study. But there never seems to be enough time in the day to get it all done.

I make to do lists. But they never get done. Whatever is left on yesterday’s to do list, is added to today’s to do list. And the cycle continues throughout the week. Sometimes to make myself feel better, I just throw away the list and start over. I still have the same amount to get done but it helps me not to freak out.

I don’t think there is anything that could help or cure my senioritis besides walking across the stage at graduation, but for those of you who are looking for tips to battle your senioritis, maybe these tips and sites will help you:

2. Life after graduation

People keep asking me what my plans are post-graduation… And for the past couple of months my response has been the same… I laugh and trying not to cry I tell them, “I’m just trying to make it to graduation.”

untitled15896How do I find the time to plan for my life after graduation? I barely have time to think about that.

So, not only are we seniors fighting senioritis – or who have given up on fighting – but at the same time we have to start planning for what we’re going to do after we graduate.

My brain just exploded for the umpteenth time this semester. So much to do, so little time left to do it all.

And the countdown continues… Good luck to all my graduating senior buddies! And may the odds be ever in your favor…

  1. Congratulation for your graduation in advance! I am so proud of you! I already experience college graduation two years ago, and I still cannot believe that I graduated a University! I feel that I am still young and need to learn more.
You might feel anxious and get frustrated but I am sure that you overcome everything! Good luck for your promising future 🙂
